Chapter 15: The Fragrance of Tomorrow

Six months later, a simple, intimate wedding took place on the cliffs overlooking the sea at the coastal cottage. Only close friends, staff, and the mothers supported by the foundation were in attendance.
Elena wore a fluid, ivory silk gown, her dark hair woven with white rosebuds. Julian stood at the altar beside a white wooden arch adorned with red roses and olive branches, his eyes locked onto her as she walked down the aisle toward him.
Clara stood nearby, holding the triplets—Hope, Grace, and Faith—who wore tiny matching ivory dresses with crimson sashes. The little girls watched their mother with wide, sparkling eyes, clapping their small hands as the ocean breeze rustled their hair.
As the minister declared them husband and wife, Julian dipped Elena back in a joyful kiss, answered by the cheerful cheers of their loved ones and the soft, rhythmic crash of the waves against the shore below.
Later that evening, after the celebration had quieted, Julian and Elena walked down to the water’s edge holding hands. The sky was clear, brilliant with stars, and the moon cast a silvery ribbon across the calm Atlantic.
"Do you remember the night in the graveyard?" Elena asked softly, leaning her head against Julian’s shoulder as they watched the tide roll in. "When everything felt lost, cold, and buried in the fog?"
Julian wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her tight against his side. "I remember. But the fog always clears, Elena. And what is built on truth and love will outlast any storm."

Elena looked back up at the cottage on the hill, where the warm amber lights showed the nursery window, with Clara watching over their sleeping daughters.
The dark petals of the past had fallen away, replaced by the enduring, beautiful fragrance of a family built on truth, courage, and unconditional love. Hand in hand, Julian and Elena turned toward their home, stepping together into a bright and unbroken tomorrow.
