Arthur sold the teardrop diamond. With the millions it fetched, he bought a massive plot of land on the outskirts of the city. He didn't tell Clara.
Instead, he spent his weekends secretly meeting with architects and contractors. He was building a state-of-the-art animal sanctuary, complete with a veterinary clinic, open-air runs, and a rehabilitation center for traumatized children to work with rescue animals.
He realized that his wealth, which had previously only bought him empty prestige and superficial relationships like Elena, could actually be used to build something that mattered. He was finally building a legacy for Lily.
