Chapter 14: Circles of Redemption**

Two years later, Chloe was granted early parole based on exemplary conduct, vocational achievements, and genuine restitution work inside the facility.

Upon her release, she did not return to the high-society circles of Manhattan. Instead, she took a humble job at a rural hospice facility upstate, quietly dedicating her labor to caring for terminally ill patients with no families of their own.

She sent a single, short postcard to the foundation on Thanksgiving:

*“Learning how to serve instead of take. Thank you for showing me what grace looks like.”*

Evelyn pinned the postcard to the community board in the center’s main lobby.

"Why keep that up there?" an intern asked curiously.

Evelyn adjusted her glasses and smiled softly. "Because justice punishes the wrong, but redemption heals the world. We must always leave a door open for those who genuinely seek to walk toward the light."
