Chapter 15 - The Dawn of a New Legacy

The blinding red and blue strobe lights of the federal vehicles cast long, dancing shadows across the grand facade of Blackwood Manor, slowly fading into the soft, golden light of dawn breaking over the Atlantic horizon. The salty ocean breeze carried the clean, crisp scent of a new beginning, washing away the lingering bitterness of the past thirty years.
Harrison and Eleanor Vance sat in total silence in the back of separate transport vans, their empire of greed reduced to shattered glass, torn paper, and federal indictments that could never be undone.
