Chapter 15 - The Dawn of a New Legacy

The heavy steel hangar doors slammed shut and locked into place, sealing all exits from the tarmac in a fraction of a second. At the same moment, the synthetic automated voice of the hangar's security grid echoed loudly across the open space.
"Biometric mismatch detected. Security lockdown protocol omega active. Federal authorities have been dispatched to the perimeter."
Julian’s face drained of color entirely. He looked down at the infant in his arms, then back at Victor, whose expression was an unyielding wall of absolute power. "You... you tricked me. The override didn't expire—you were stalling for the federal perimeter lock."
"You underestimated me in my own house, Julian," Victor said, stepping forward with lightning speed before his brother could recover his balance.
With a swift, precise strike, Victor lunged up the metal stairs, wrenching the baby safely from Julian’s loosened grip and pulling the infant securely against his own chest. At the exact same second, half a dozen armed federal tactical agents swarmed out from the shadows of the hangar access tunnels, their weapons drawn and focused squarely on Julian.
"Don't move! Hands on your head, now!" the lead federal agent barked, wrestling Julian to the tarmac and snapping heavy steel handcuffs around his wrists.
Julian thrashed and screamed as he was hauled away into the blinding lights of the approaching police cruisers, his grand conspiracy collapsing into total ruin within a matter of seconds.
Victor stood alone in the center of the tarmac, cradling his son tightly against the black fabric of his suit. The baby stirred gently in his beige onesie, letting out a soft yawn before settling back into a peaceful, undisturbed sleep against his father’s chest. The storm clouds above were finally beginning to break, allowing the first pale rays of dawn to pierce the dark horizon.
Elena emerged from the shadow of the hangar entrance, walking slowly toward them with quiet dignity in her gray uniform and white apron. She didn't speak; she simply offered a warm, reassuring smile as she reached out to adjust the soft blanket over the baby's shoulders.

"He's safe now, Mr. Sterling," Elena whispered softly.
Victor looked down at his sleeping son, then out at the sprawling estate bathed in the golden light of the new morning. The bright blue dress, the digital lies, and the corporate betrayal were all gone, swept away by an unyielding wave of truth and accountability. The Sterling name was bruised, but it was intact—and the future of the dynasty rested safely in hands that would finally protect it with honor.
