Chapter 15: The New Horizon

As evening fell, Adrian stood on the balcony overlooking the harbor in the distance. The cool sea breeze blew gently against his face, carrying the distant horn of a departing cargo ship—one filled with food, medicine, and clean water destined for a coastal community in need.

Julian joined him, handing him a warm cup of coffee. "Penny for your thoughts?"

"I was thinking about the day I walked into that hallway," Adrian mused quietly. "How easy it would have been to look the other way, take the money, and run."

"Why didn't you?" Julian asked, smiling gently.

Adrian looked out toward the endless horizon where the ocean met the starlit sky. "Because a house built on hidden cruelty will always collapse in the dark. The only way to build something lasting is with truth, compassion, and courage."

They stood side by side in peaceful silence as the city lights twinkled across the water—a testament to a world redeemed, one life, one choice, and one light at a time.
