Inside a quiet hospital room downtown, Marcus sat propped up on clean white pillows, his injuries treated and bandaged. Clara sat in an armchair beside the window, watching the morning sun illuminate the city skyline with a fresh, clean light.
Marcus looked at her, his expression filled with profound humility. “The Sterling family trust has been placed into federal receivership.
