Bringing Evelyn to Marcus's cottage was a moment I will treasure until my last breath. When Lily saw her little sister, there were no questions, no confusion—only an instant, innate recognition.
""Evy?"" Lily gasped, dropping her bear and running across the room.
Evelyn smiled brightly, throwing her little arms around Lily's neck. They held each other as if the years apart had been nothing more than a temporary dream.
