Chapter 11: The Fall of an Empire**

Victoria’s gaze darted around the room like a caged animal. "I built this empire! I took an old, sentimental charity foundation and turned it into the most profitable healthcare conglomerate on the East Coast!"
"By denying treatments to sick children?" Elena asked, her voice laced with righteous indignation. "By tripling the price of basic insulin and firing doctors who spoke up for underfunded community clinics? You didn't build anything, Victoria. You strip-mined human dignity."
"This is how the world works, Elena!" Victoria screamed, tears of pure rage spilling over her perfectly sculpted makeup. "People like you are weak! You bleed for strangers who would step over your corpse in the subway! The strong take what they want!"
"No," Elena said softly. "The strong protect those who cannot protect themselves. That is what real power looks like."
The lead federal agent stepped forward, pulling a pair of steel handcuffs from his utility belt. "Victoria Sterling, you are under arrest for attempted murder, wire fraud, racketeering, and conspiracy to commit corporate extortion. You have the right to remain silent."
