Chapter 13: The Opening Night**

Six months after leaving the corporate world, the *Lighthouse Community Studio* officially opened its doors. The inaugural exhibition featured Elena’s preserved paintings alongside works by local underprivileged youth who attended Julian’s free weekend workshops.

The gallery was packed, not with wealthy investors seeking tax write-offs, but with neighborhood families, artists, teachers, and old friends from the northern coast, including Mrs. Gable.

Julian stood near the center of the room, watching Mia proudly explain the background of Elena’s sea-glass mosaic to a cluster of wide-eyed children.

A reporter from an independent arts magazine approached him. "Mr. Vance, people called your departure from corporate leadership a financial suicide. Looking at all this, what do you call it?"

Julian smiled, taking a sip of plain sparkling water. "I call it waking up before the dream became a permanent nightmare. Wealth isn't what you collect in a vault; it's what you leave behind in the people you love."
