Chapter 15: The New Dawn**

The late afternoon sun warmed the stone steps of St. Jude’s Church as Julian stepped out into the courtyard.
Down by the fountain, Lily was laughing, tossing breadcrumbs to the pigeons with Father Dominic and Marcus. For the first time in years, the tension had vanished from Julian’s shoulders. The suffocating weight of corporate vanity had burned away, leaving behind only the pure, unbreakable bond of family.
Lily turned and saw her father. Her face lit up, and she ran across the cobblestones, throwing her small arms around his neck as Julian lifted her into the air.
“Is it over, Daddy?” she asked softly.
“It’s over, Lily,” Julian smiled, pressing his forehead against hers. “Everything is going to be alright now.”
Julian looked over at Marcus, who nodded with quiet pride, wiping his grease-stained hands on a rag. The rift between the brothers was finally closed, forged anew through fire and sacrifice.
Julian officially resigned from his position as CEO the following week, transferring operational control of Vance Logistics to an ethical community trust and appointing Thomas as head of corporate security. He kept only what was necessary to ensure a comfortable, quiet life for his daughter far away from the toxic glare of high society.
