Chapter 13: Truth on the Screen**

Evelyn’s composure shattered instantly. She stood up so quickly her leather chair tumbled backward against the glass wall.

“Turn that off!” Arthur shouted frantically into his phone. “Security! Cut the feed! Cut it now!”

Julian’s face filled every monitor in the room—and simultaneously, every screen across all fifty floors of the skyscraper and the live financial broadcast networks monitoring the scheduled press release.

“Good morning, members of the board,” Julian’s voice boomed through the speakers, calm, authoritative, and unmistakable. “If you are looking for my signature on the succession papers, I’m afraid you will have to wait.”

With a simple click of a button from Marcus, the screen split into three simultaneous windows.

On the left, the offshore wire transactions linking Arthur’s shell corporation to Apex Asset Protection flashed in bright red text. On the right, the verified audio file began to play:

> *“Make sure it looks like an accident on the expressway. Once he’s gone, the trust defaults to me…”*

Evelyn’s recorded voice echoed through the boardroom with chilling clarity.

The room erupted into absolute chaos. Board members leaped from their seats in outrage. Outside the double doors, the elevator chimed, and a squad of federal marshals and city detectives—alerted by Marcus’s simultaneous data dump to the District Attorney’s office—marched straight toward the boardroom with warrants drawn.
