Arthur tapped the podium lightly with his cane, bringing the auditorium back to a focused hush.

"Effective immediately," Arthur announced, "the Sterling Family Trust will convert forty percent of its controlling shares into an Employee Ownership Trust."

"Every warehouse worker, truck driver, engineer, and clerk who has given over five years to this firm will become a direct stakeholder in its profits," Arthur continued, his eyes shining with conviction. "We are permanently shutting down our speculative hedge fund operations. Instead, we are allocating one hundred million dollars to fully fund our community medical initiatives and green freight corridors."

Murmurs of shock turned into another deafening round of applause.

He stepped aside and gestured toward Elena.

Elena stepped up to the podium. She looked out at the thousands of people looking up at her with renewed hope.

"We will not measure our success by the height of our stock price," Elena said, her voice clear, confident, and inspiring. "We will measure it by the security we provide to our workers' children, the integrity of our promises, and the standard of justice we uphold. The era of unchecked greed at Sterling Global is over. Today, we rebuild."
