Chapter 10: The Rebuilding**

Three months passed. The transformation of the Aurelia Corporation was swift and unyielding.
Under Damian’s direct orders, thirty percent of the company’s commercial real estate portfolio was converted into affordable housing and community wellness centers. The board members who had stood by Julianne’s predatory practices were systematically bought out and replaced by leaders dedicated to social impact and ethical stewardship.
Julianne had accepted a plea bargain that stripped her of corporate influence, forcing her into community restitution. Power in the city was no longer measured by the height of the penthouse, but by the integrity of the ground floor.
Every Friday afternoon, the top-floor boardroom was closed to business. Instead, the mahogany table was cleared of spreadsheets and replaced with drawing pads, colored pencils, and architectural blocks.
Leo would sit at the head of the table, sketching bridges that connected parks to libraries, while Damian worked beside him on real urban development plans designed to serve working-class families.
“Do you think we can build a bakery next to the new clinic?” Leo asked one afternoon, coloring a roof bright red.

Damian smiled, ruffling his son's hair. “I think that’s the most important building in the entire plan.”
