Two weeks later, Julian stood at the lectern in his corporate boardroom. The media had gathered in droves, expecting him to announce a massive corporate takeover.
Instead, Julian signed the transfer papers before the cameras.
"True wealth is not measured in balance sheets," Julian declared into the microphones. "It is measured in the lives we uplift and the debts of honor we honor. Effective immediately, fifty percent of Sterling Enterprises will fund rehabilitation and housing for families displaced by organized crime."
