The wailing siren in the underground bunker cut off abruptly as Clara slammed her fist onto the manual override button on the main terminal. The amber emergency lights flickered and steadied into a clean, bright white overhead glow. The mysterious final message—*Game over, Arthur. For the first time in years, the vacant, haunted look in Elena’s eyes was replaced by a spark of genuine human recognition.
