Chapter 14: The Return to the Table**

One crisp autumn evening, Elena decided to revisit the Grand Regency. She didn't arrive in a limousine or wear high-end designer silk; she wore a simple wool coat and jeans, walking in through the front doors unannounced.
Mr. Henderson, the manager who had once tried to fire her on the spot, rushed forward, bowing nervously. "Miss Vance! An absolute honor! Let me prepare our best VIP private suite for you immediately—"
"No thank you, Mr. Henderson," Elena said gently, raising a hand. "I’d just like a table in the corner of the main dining room."
She sat at Table 14, looking around at the familiar crystal chandeliers and bustling servers. A young waitress, carrying a heavy tray with tired eyes, walked past. Elena recognized that exact look—the exhaustion of someone juggling two jobs just to stay afloat.
When the young woman came to take her order, Elena smiled warmly. "What’s your name?"
"Sarah, ma'am," the girl answered politely.
When the meal ended, Elena signed the bill. Beneath the total, she wrote a tip amount that would pay off Sarah’s entire college tuition, along with a short handwritten note: *Keep your head up. Life can change in a single second.*

As Elena walked out into the cool evening air, she felt a profound sense of peace. She was no longer running from her past, nor was she trapped by her newfound wealth. She had reconciled both halves of her soul.
