Over the next two years, the Glenn-Davies Foundation grew into one of the most effective non-profit organizations in the country. Elena traveled across major cities, establishing daycares, subsidized housing projects, and vocational training centers for underprivileged families.
She became a fierce advocate on national television, using her firsthand experience to dismantle systemic barriers for low-income workers.
Arthur stood beside her at every major ribbon-cutting, but he made sure Elena remained the public voice and face of the movement. He provided the capital and corporate leverage; she provided the soul and empathy.
Back at the estate, Nora was thriving. She excelled in school, learned to play the violin, and spent her weekends helping Mrs. Gable plant organic vegetables in the greenhouse. But no matter how comfortable her life became, she never forgot where she came from.
Every Saturday morning, Nora would visit the service kitchen, pour a glass of fresh orange juice for the housekeeping staff, and sit at the small wooden table listening to their stories.
