The rotor blades of the heavy transport helicopter beat a steady, rhythmic cadence against the crisp morning air as it lifted smoothly off the Seattle rooftop, banking westward toward the untamed wilderness of the Cascade Mountains. Below them, the sprawling metropolis was already waking up to front-page news broadcasts detailing the massive federal raids, the collapse of Victor Vance’s criminal syndicate, and the exposure of deep-rooted corruption across the state. The empire built on blood and betrayal had crumbled into dust in a single night, swept away by the unyielding pursuit of justice.

Inside the cabin, Lily sat by the small window, her olive-green jacket zipped tight against the rushing wind, her long dark hair dancing in the draft. Her pale skin caught the golden light of the rising sun breaking fully over the mountain peaks. Across from her sat Thomas, his massive frame relaxing against the jump seat, his scarred head scarred bearing the physical map of a lifetime of violence, now softened by a quiet, hard-earned peace. He reached into his vest, pulled out a small leather pouch, and placed it gently on the metal floor between them without a word.

Lily picked up the pouch and emptied its contents into her palm: an identical silver wolf ring, belonging to Thomas, which he had worn since the early days of the Vultures' founding under her father, Arthur. He looked at her with steady, unwavering loyalty, his scarred face breaking into a rare, genuine smile. "The charter in Oregon is waiting for its alpha," Thomas said softly, his voice thick with emotion and absolute submission. "We're your pack now, kid. Every single man, every single charter, across three states. Arthur built the foundation, but you saved the house."
