Chapter 11: The Gala and the Revelation**

The grand ballroom of the Grand Plaza Hotel was filled with the city’s elite for the Annual Sterling Foundation Gala. Crystal chandeliers sparkled overhead, and champagne flowed freely.

Arthur stood backstage, adjusting his microphone. Julian walked up beside him, patting his shoulder. "Ready to blow the roof off this place?"

"More than ready," Arthur smiled.

Arthur walked out to the podium. The applause was polite, wealthy, and practiced. He waited for the room to quiet down.

"Ladies and gentlemen," Arthur began, his voice echoing clearly across the ballroom. "For twenty-five years, the Sterling name has been synonymous with philanthropy in this city. But true philanthropy cannot exist alongside concealed injustice."

The room grew abruptly silent. Guests looked at one another in confusion.

Arthur continued, his voice steady and devoid of pride. He openly shared the story of Dr. Green, the Northside Clinic, and the wrongdoing committed by his father in 1999. Murmurs and gasps broke out across the tables, cameras flashed, and reporters in the back frantically typed into their phones.

"Tonight," Arthur announced, "the Sterling Foundation is liquidating the Northside commercial holdings to establish the Dr. Thomas Green Memorial Health Institute, providing free, world-class healthcare to the families who were displaced decades ago. We do not do this for applause. We do this because justice delayed must not become justice denied."
