Chapter 12: Reclaiming the Past**
With the trial concluded, Julian took the first step toward healing. He authorized the demolition of the Vance estate on the cliffs. The oppressive mansion, built on generations of cold pride and political corruption, was torn down to its foundations.
In its place, Julian funded the construction of the **Claire Vance Memorial Center**, a sanctuary dedicated to pediatric healthcare, maternal mental health, and child protection services.
Father Thomas visited the construction site one sunny morning, finding Julian working alongside the carpenters.
"You’re doing holy work here, Julian," Father Thomas said, placing a supportive hand on his shoulder. "Claire’s name will be remembered for grace and healing, not tragedy."
