Chapter 13: A New Dawn**

One month later, the Imperial Crown Hotel’s grand lobby looked just as opulent as it had on the day Leo first walked in.

The crystal chandeliers gleamed, and high-society patrons in designer clothes walked across the polished marble. But behind the reception counter, things had changed dramatically.

Mrs. Vance had been replaced by a kind, middle-aged manager who greeted every guest with genuine warmth, regardless of how they were dressed. Arthur, the young clerk who had once sneered at Leo, was still there—but he wore a small pin on his lapel supporting the Holloway Pediatric Foundation.

The glass doors slid open, and Leo walked in.

He was dressed in a clean, navy blue jacket and new shoes, his hair neatly combed. Beside him, Maya walked on her own two feet, holding Leo’s hand tightly as she marvelled at the soaring ceiling.

Arthur looked up, and a wide, respectful smile instantly spread across his face.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Leo," Arthur said, bowing slightly. "Welcome back to the Imperial Crown."

"Hi, Arthur," Leo smiled, reaching into his pocket.

He pulled out the original matte black titanium card—the one the city drainage crew had recovered and the courts had legally restored to the foundation.

"We aren't here to withdraw money this time," Leo said, sliding the heavy card across the marble counter.

"What can we do for you today, sir?" Arthur asked politely.

"We’d like to book the entire third-floor banquet hall for this Saturday," Leo said, his eyes sparkling with joy. "We're throwing a party for every child in St. Jude’s Ward Four."

Arthur’s smile grew even wider. "Consider it done, Leo. On the house."
