Julian tried to recover, stepping toward the microphone. “Evelyn! You’re alive! It’s a miracle—I thought you fell—”

“I didn't fall,” Evelyn interrupted firmly, turning to face the reporters and the board of directors. “I was pushed. And I have the acoustic logs, vessel telemetry, and eyewitness testimony from my father’s research station to prove it.”

Marcus stepped forward, placing a digital drive onto the podium. “This drive contains satellite tracking from that evening, including audio recordings captured by our underwater sonar grid.”

Victoria, terrified of facing a murder charge alone, broke down completely. “It was his idea!” she screamed, pointing at Julian. “He planned it all! He threatened to ruin me if I didn't help him!”

Within minutes, federal agents moved in, placing handcuffs on both Julian and Victoria.
