Chapter 11: The Trap Closes**

Before they could disconnect the medical leads, the facility’s emergency sirens began blaring red.
Heavy steel blast doors slammed shut across the exit hallway. Through the bulletproof observation window, Arthur Sterling appeared, accompanied by Victoria and a squad of heavily armed private security personnel.
Arthur was an elderly man with immaculate silver hair and eyes as cold as granite. He spoke through the wall intercom, his voice dripping with condescending arrogance.
“Remarkable, Julian,” Arthur said. “I spent millions trying to reverse-engineer Clara’s neural serum, and all along, the living catalyst was sitting in a cheap orphanage waiting for you to look at her.”
“It’s over, Arthur,” Julian replied through the microphone. “The Department of Justice and Interpol have received every encrypted ledger on your servers.”
Arthur chuckled softly. “Files can be deleted, and politicians can be bought, Julian. But dead men tell no tales. When this facility burns down tonight in an unfortunate chemical explosion, the Sterling Empire will inherit Vance Industries unconditionally.”
Victoria looked through the glass, her expression twisted in cruel satisfaction. “Goodbye, Julian.”
