Chapter 14: The Full Circle**

On a rainy autumn evening, Leo found himself back on his motorcycle, wearing his old dark jacket and helmet. He had spent the afternoon inspecting regional hubs, refusing to lose touch with the tarmac.

He pulled up to *Joe’s Corner Grille*, the little diner where it all began.

He stepped inside. The diner was warm, smelling of grilled onions and fresh coffee. Sitting in the far booth was a young man no older than nineteen, wearing a wet delivery jacket from a rival courier company, staring blankly at a cold plate of hash browns with tears in his eyes.

Leo walked over and quietly slid into the opposite side of the booth.

"Tough night?" Leo asked gently.

The young man wiped his eyes quickly, embarrassed. "Boss just fired me because my bike tire blew out and I was ten minutes late with an executive's dinner. Said I was replaceable trash."

Leo looked at the boy, seeing his own father, seeing himself, seeing millions of honest people who simply needed someone to believe in them.

Leo reached into his pocket, pulled out a clean Vance Global business card with his private direct number, and placed it on the table.

"Drink your coffee," Leo smiled warmly. "Tomorrow morning at eight, call this number. Tell them Leo sent you. You’re not replaceable trash, son. You're the backbone of this country."

The boy stared at the card in shock as Leo stood up, zipped his jacket, and walked toward the door.
