Chapter 12: The Sanctuary**

Six months later, the golden gates of the Upstate mansion swung open once more.
There were no supercars parked along the sweeping circular driveway, no high-society socialites clutching crystal glasses, and no arrogant executives barking orders at the staff.
Instead, the manicured lawns echoed with the joyful laughter of children.
The grand foyer, where Mauricio had once demanded a courier eat food off the floor, had been transformed into the *Thomas Vance Memorial Sanctuary*—a state-of-the-art rehabilitation, education, and retreat center for injured logistics workers and their families.

Leo walked up beside him, leaning against the stone balustrade. "How's the new arm feeling, Marcus?"
Marcus flexed the composite carbon fingers, marveling at the smooth mechanical precision. "Feels like I’ve got my life back, Leo. My daughter cried when I held her hand with two hands for the first time in a year."
Marcus turned to Leo, his eyes glistening with unshed tears. "You could have kept all this for yourself, kid. Any other billionaire would have."
