Chapter 15: The Sky is Blue**

Back at their seaside cottage in Maine, the sun was beginning to dip below the ocean horizon, casting a warm violet glow across the tranquil waters.
Victoria and Elena sat together on the wooden bench at the edge of their rose garden. A tall crystal vase rested on the patio table, filled with fresh, blooming white roses cut from their own bushes.
Elena leaned her head gently against Victoria’s shoulder, wrapping a knitted shawl around both of them as the evening chill settled in.
“Do you remember the rest of the rhyme, Clara?” Elena asked softly, her voice carrying the peaceful cadence of the tide.
Victoria smiled, resting her cheek against her mother’s hair. Together, their voices intertwined in gentle harmony, singing the quiet lullaby that had survived thirty-four years of separation, deceit, and darkness:
May you like
*“Sleep, little star…* *Tomorrow the sky will be blue.* *No matter how far the night wanders,* *My heart will always find you.”*
As the first evening stars appeared in the clear twilight sky, the mother and daughter held each other close, knowing that no shadow would ever separate them again.
