Chapter 11: A Simple Life**

Two months later, the chaotic noise of high society was replaced by the gentle rustle of coastal breezes. Victoria had purchased a modest, two-story seaside cottage in a quiet town along the coast of Maine.
There were no marble floors, no crystal chandeliers, and no security guards checking IDs at the gate. Instead, the front yard bloomed with fresh hydrangeas, lavender, and a dedicated garden bed filled with white roses.
Every morning, Elena and Victoria sat on the wooden porch, drinking coffee and watching the sunrise paint the Atlantic Ocean in hues of gold and amber. For Elena, who had spent decades cleaning luxury suites for wealthy guests who never looked her in the eye, the simple luxury of resting her own feet was a miracle.
“Do you miss it, Clara?” Elena asked one morning, looking out at the calm horizon. “The boardrooms, the private jets, the power?”
Victoria smiled, pouring fresh tea into her mother’s mug. “I spent thirty years running on a treadmill that never stopped, trying to earn love from a father who treated me like an acquisition. Out here, with you… this is the first time I’ve ever felt at peace.”
Their peace, however, was about to touch the lives of thousands of others. Victoria’s phone buzzed with an incoming alert from *The Clara & Elena Initiative*.
