Emily took a deep breath. Her knees shook slightly, but the fear that used to paralyize her was gone, replaced by a quiet confidence. She let go of the rail. She shifted her weight, took one step forward, then another, and finally a third, reaching out to tap the soccer ball.

Arthur, watching from the doorway with Sarah, wiped a quiet tear from his cheek. It wasn't a miracle from a textbook; it was the result of patience, love, and human connection.
