A year after that rainy night, the Vance-Reed Rehabilitation Center officially opened its doors. The old estate grounds were transformed into a vibrant haven of glass, timber, and warm thermal pools surrounded by lush gardens.
Families from across the region arrived for the opening ceremony. Children in wheelchairs and on braces looked out at the warm water with wide, hesitant eyes, seeing possibilities instead of limitations.
