Victoria Montgomery was read her Miranda rights in front of every major news outlet in the state, her wrists locked in steel cuffs over her designer evening gown as she was escorted down the center aisle. The board members scrambled for exits, but the state attorney had already frozen the foundation’s assets on charges of systemic fraud and child endangerment.
Julian stood backstage as the chaos swirled around them. He handed Leo’s passport and legal birth documentation directly to Marcus Vance. He then knelt in front of Claire. "I’m not asking for your forgiveness," Julian said, his eyes filled with quiet defeat. "I’m turning myself in as an accessory. Everything I have in the family trust is being signed over to Leo under your sole guardianship. He deserves a mother who fought for him, not a coward who hid behind wealth." Claire looked at him, recognizing the broken man who had finally chosen truth over privilege. "Raise your head, Julian," she said softly. "Serve your time. When you’re honest, you can see your son again."
