Refusing to let his daughter live in fear, Darian packed a single bag, took Lia, and left the grand estate before dawn. They fled to a quiet, secluded cabin near Lake Tahoe—a place no one in his elite social circle knew about. For the first time in years, Darian cooked simple meals, walked along the shoreline with Lia, and listened to her laugh freely.
