The council voted unanimously to preserve the residential trust and protect the local parks. Outside the town hall, Harrison approached Marcus in the quiet evening air. There were no cameras, no bodyguards, and no luxury cars. ""I didn't understand why you left back then,"" Harrison admitted, his tone subdued and reflective. ""I thought you gave up power."" Marcus looked him in the eye and replied gently, ""Power isn't about controlling others, Harrison. It's about having the strength to do what's right when no one is forcing you to.""
