Three weeks later, the morning sun broke brightly over the Boston skyline, casting warm, clear light across the steps of the federal courthouse. The media circus was larger than before, but this time, the headlines were entirely different. CITY HALL CORRUPTION SCANDAL: ZONING BOARD CHIEF AND HAYES ASSOCIATES ARRESTED.
Julian stood on the courthouse steps wearing a clean, dark wool coat, the bitter chill of winter now whispering through the air.
