Chapter 6: The Strategy**

James pulled out his smartphone and dialed Detective Marcus Brody, a trusted friend from their college days who was currently stationed with the State Police Financial Crimes Division.

"Brody, I need a tactical unit at St. Jude’s in ten minutes," James spoke quietly into the receiver. "I have the digital trail for the Mercy General incident and the offshore shell accounts tied to Richard Vance."

"James, are you serious? Richard is your brother," Brody replied, stunned.

"He murdered Claire to cover up a multimillion-dollar fraud, Brody. The evidence is verified and secured. I'm uploading the raw files to your encrypted server right now."

James used his phone to scan the micro-SD card data through an adapter in his briefcase. Within seconds, gigabytes of forensic records and dashcam timestamps began pinging over the secure mobile network.

"Got them," Brody confirmed, his voice instantly shifting to professional urgency. "We have units five minutes away. How do you want to handle the arrest?"

James looked at Rebecca, who gave him a firm, resolute nod. "Let the procession proceed. Let him believe everything is going according to his plan until the ink meets the paper."
