Chapter 11: The Foundation of Hope

In memory of Helen, the nurse whose bravery had saved Claire’s life, Claire and Andrew established *The St. Helen Trust*—an international nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting vulnerable women in private healthcare facilities and funding legal aid for victims of medical guardianship abuse.

Claire served as the active director. She didn't manage from behind a desk; she visited community shelters, met with legal aid attorneys, and spoke before parliamentary human rights committees.

At the foundation’s first annual symposium in London, Claire stood before an audience of over five hundred advocates and physicians.

""Darkness thrives only when good people agree to look away,"" Claire addressed the hall. ""When a woman is silenced, we must not ask why she is quiet; we must ask who benefits from her silence. This foundation exists to ensure that every lost voice is given a path back home.""
