Three weeks later, the legal storm had reached its climax. The grand courtroom of the Federal District Court was packed to capacity, the press gallery overflowing with journalists, legal analysts, and curious onlookers eager to witness the fall of one of Hollywood’s most powerful dynasties.
Clara walked through the double oak doors of the courtroom wearing a sharp, tailored navy suit, her head held high. Maya and Lily were safely staying with a trusted family friend across state lines for the duration of the trial, shielded from the media circus. Beside Clara walked Elena and Marcus, their expressions resolute and supportive.
At the defense table sat Richard Vance and his mother, Margaret. The contrast between them and their former glory was staggering. Margaret’s posture was rigid, but her face was pale, her expensive pearls unable to mask the profound humiliation of a public downfall. Richard looked defeated, his designer suit rumpled, his eyes bloodshot from sleepless nights and mounting indictments.
The federal judge, a stern woman with silver hair and sharp spectacles, rapped her gavel twice.

The prosecutor rose, presenting a thick binder containing the verified digital logs, engineering audits, and financial restitution plans. "Your Honor, thanks to the cooperation of whistleblowers and newly recovered evidence detailing decades of corporate fraud, child labor violations, and systematic extortion, the defendants have agreed to a comprehensive plea arrangement. Vance Media will be dissolved, its remaining assets liquidated to establish a trust fund for rehabilitation and legal defense for affected child performers and exploited families."
Richard’s defense attorney stood up hastily, attempting an eleventh-hour objection, but the judge silenced him with a single wave of her hand.
