Chapter 13: The Zurich Vault

The secure notification on Evelyn’s phone displayed a single, flashing red banner: ASSET RECOVERY CONFIRMED – ZURICH CENTRAL DEPOSITORY.
Arthur leaned over the desk, reading the encrypted text as it populated the screen line by line. “The Swiss federal police executed the warrant on the safety deposit box ten minutes ago. Arthur hesitated for a fraction of a second, his experienced eyes studying her face. “You’re going to restructure the entire corporate model, aren’t you? Not just the finances—the philosophy.”
“A company that feeds on embezzlement and hidden accounts is a cancer,” Evelyn said, her voice ringing with quiet power. “We are going back to manufacturing steel, building infrastructure, and honoring every contract with absolute integrity. My grandfather’s legacy will not be remembered as a corporate raiding ground.”
