Chapter 13 - The Plan Begins
By 3:00 AM, Marcus arrived at the cabin driving an unmarked grey delivery van loaded with surveillance gear and heavy equipment. Together, the two men mapped out the security layout of the Sterling Tower downtown, where the emergency board meeting was scheduled to take place at dawn.
The plan was highly dangerous: instead of fleeing the state, they would infiltrate the highest-security building in the city during the middle of the night. They needed to access the main server room on the 40th floor to retrieve the original, unedited trust documents and broadcast Arthur's fraudulent activities directly to the board members. As they prepared their gear, Sophia walked over and placed a small paper drawing into her father's pocket, telling him to come back safely.
