Chapter 7: Breaking the Fortress**

The following morning, Clara threw out the rigid curriculum left by the previous nannies. Instead of Latin drills and violin exercises, she dragged four giant bags of flour, sugar, and cocoa into the gourmet kitchen.

"What is this?" Noah asked suspiciously, peeking from behind the island counter.

"We’re making a mess," Clara smiled, rolling up her sweater sleeves. "And chocolate chip cookies from scratch."

Within thirty minutes, the formal kitchen transformed into laughter and chaos. Liam had flour smeared across his nose; Lucas was giggling uncontrollably as dough stuck to his fingers. Even Leo couldn't resist shaping cookies into funny little monsters.

For the first time in two years, genuine, uninhibited children's laughter echoed through the sterile halls of Sterling Manor.
