The lead investigator, Detective Sarah Jenkins, visited Claire’s hospital room to gather a formal statement.

""He took my phone, my car keys, even my passport,"" Claire explained, her voice steadying with each word. ""He made me feel completely powerless. But three months ago, I realized I wasn't just fighting for myself anymore. I was fighting for my unborn child.""

Detective Jenkins nodded, recording every word. ""You were brilliant to record those files, Claire. Most victims can't get evidence like this. Your bravery is going to put him away for a very long time.""
