Chapter 7: The Boardroom Confrontation
Three days later, the board of directors of Vance Hospitality gathered in the executive boardroom on the top floor of the city's financial center. CEO Arthur Vance sat at the head of the long oak table, smoking a cigar, surrounded by wealthy investors and corporate lawyers.
"Let's move to item three," Arthur said arrogantly. "The complete buyout of Clara Vance’s remaining shares."
Before the legal counsel could speak, the heavy mahogany doors of the boardroom swung open.
Julian Santoni walked in calmly, impeccably dressed in a charcoal three-piece suit. Behind him walked Elena, wearing an elegant dark blue dress, carrying herself with quiet confidence.
Arthur Vance stood up, his face turning pale. "Santoni? What is the meaning of this intrusion? This is a private board meeting!"

"Not anymore, Arthur," Julian said, his voice echoing authoritatively across the room. "You are attempting to liquidate shares that belong to the legitimate heir of Clara Vance."
Elena stepped forward, placing a certified legal injunction directly in front of her uncle. "Hello, Uncle Arthur. It's time we talked about my mother's legacy."
