Arthur approaches Clara privately in the estate's coatroom. He slides a blank check across the table, offering her enough money to start her own elite photography studio anywhere in the world. The only condition is that she hands over the memory card and signs an NDA. Clara looks at the check, thinking of her mounting debts, but then looks at the scratch on her cheek in the mirror. She slides the check back, choosing her integrity over his wealth.
