Chapter 1: The Arm in the Dark
The police pull the man, Harry, from the dumpster. He is battered and terrified, whispering that ""they"" are coming. Leo, the young boy, recognizes him as a homeless man his mother used to feed. Harry reveals he wasn't hiding from the police; he was hiding from the men who abducted Leo's mother, Sarah. Arthur, the man in the grey suit, realizes the child is in immediate danger from a syndicate and makes a split-second decision to take Leo into his black SUV before the corrupt elements of the crowd can react.
