THE WIFE WHO DESTROYED HER MARRIAGE IN ONE NIGHT OF RAGE

Sophia Nguyen came home at 9:15 p.m. instead of midnight.
She had told her husband Alex she would be at a client dinner until late. But the dinner ended early. She wanted to surprise him.
The moment she stepped into their luxury apartment in Singapore’s Orchard Road, she heard the sounds — soft laughter, the creak of the bed, her husband’s low voice.
She walked silently down the hallway and pushed open the bedroom door.
Alex was on top of Anna, his young colleague from the marketing department. Both were half-dressed. The bedside lamp cast a warm glow over their bodies.
For one second, the world stopped.
Then Sophia screamed.
She grabbed the heavy crystal vase from the console table and hurled it at them. It shattered against the wall. Alex jumped up, pulling the sheet around himself.
“Sophia, wait! It’s not—”
She didn’t let him finish. She launched herself at Anna, grabbing the younger woman by her long hair and dragging her off the bed onto the floor. Anna screamed as Sophia slapped her across the face, then punched her in the mouth. Blood sprayed across the white carpet.
“You bitch!” Sophia shrieked. “You dared to touch my husband in my own bed!”
She kept hitting Anna, her fists flying wildly. Alex tried to pull her off, but Sophia turned and elbowed him hard in the ribs. He stumbled back against the dresser.
“Sophia, stop! You’re going to kill her!”
Sophia didn’t stop. She dragged Anna by the hair across the bedroom floor, through the hallway, and toward the front door. Anna was crying, begging, trying to cover her bleeding face. Sophia opened the door and kicked her out into the hallway of the apartment building.
“Get out! Get the fuck out of my life!”
Neighbors opened their doors. Phones came out. Someone was already calling the police.
Alex stood in the doorway, pale and shaking.
“Sophia… Anna was helping me plan your surprise anniversary trip. We were just looking at brochures on the bed. Nothing happened.”
Sophia froze.
The elevator doors opened. Two security guards and a police officer stepped out.
Anna was curled on the floor, sobbing, her face swollen and bloody.
Sophia looked down at her bloody knuckles, then at her husband’s devastated face.
She had destroyed everything in less than three minutes.
At the police station, Alex sat across from her with tired eyes.
“I loved you,” he said quietly. “I was planning to take you to Paris next month. Anna was helping me because she’s good at design. That’s all.”
Sophia started crying.
The officer told her she was being charged with assault. The video from the hallway security camera had already gone viral among their building’s residents.
Alex stood up.
“I’m filing for divorce tomorrow. I can’t live with someone who would do this without even asking.”

He walked out without looking back.
Sophia sat alone in the cold interrogation room, her hands still covered in another woman’s blood, realizing she had thrown away her marriage because of a suspicion that was never true.
