For years, Clara Thompson played the role of the perfect housewife. She cooked, cleaned, took care of their two children, and supported her husband Adrian’s career without complaint. Everyone praised her for being such a devoted and gentle wife.
What no one knew was that Clara had discovered Adrian’s affair with his young assistant, Bianca, six months ago. Instead of confronting him immediately, she stayed quiet and collected evidence.
On Adrian’s 40th birthday, Clara organized a big party at their home, inviting family, friends, and colleagues — including Bianca. Adrian was surprised but pleased that his “sweet, simple” wife had gone to so much effort.

The entire room fell into stunned silence.
Adrian’s face turned completely pale. He looked at Clara in shock, unable to speak. Bianca, who was standing nearby holding a glass of wine, suddenly went weak. Her eyes rolled back, and she collapsed to the floor, fainting on the spot.
