Elena Vargas had been married to Marcus for six years when she discovered he was having an affair with a younger woman named Camila. One stormy night, Elena received a message from a friend confirming that Marcus was at Camila’s apartment. Without hesitation, she called Rosa. The older woman didn’t even hesitate.
“Pick me up in twenty minutes,” Rosa said coldly. “We’re going to end this tonight.”
The rain was pouring heavily as Elena and Rosa drove to Camila’s apartment building. Both women were dressed in black, their faces filled with cold determination. When they reached the door, Rosa didn’t bother knocking politely. She raised her foot and kicked the door hard. Once. Twice. On the third kick, the door swung open.
Inside, Marcus and Camila were shocked. They were on the couch, barely dressed. Camila screamed. Marcus jumped up in panic.
Rosa stepped in first, her voice booming over the sound of thunder outside:
“So this is what my son has been doing behind his wife’s back?”
Elena walked in behind her mother-in-law, her eyes locked on Marcus. She didn’t cry. She didn’t scream. She simply said:
“You thought you could humiliate me and get away with it? Tonight, you’re going to face both of us.”
Camila tried to run into the bedroom, but Rosa blocked her path and said sharply, “Sit down. You’re not going anywhere until we’re done.”

By the time they left, Marcus was pale and shaking. Camila was crying on the floor. Elena and Rosa walked out into the rain together, side by side, without looking back.
