THE BODYSUIT WAS SUPPOSED TO HIDE EVERYTHING — SHE MADE SURE IT HID NOTHING

Paris Fashion Week glowed under thousands of lights inside the historic Grand Palais. The final collection of the night belonged to Lucien Moreau. The closing look was a striking black bodysuit — skin-tight, glossy, with strategic cutouts and metallic details that caught every flash. It clung to the model like a second skin.

The model wearing it was Nadia Laurent, twenty-seven, the face of the campaign and the woman Lucien had been sleeping with for nearly a year.

Isabella Moreau, forty, sat in the shadows at the back of the venue. She had designed most of the collection in secret over the past three years. Tonight, she had come for one reason only.

As Nadia reached the end of the runway and struck her final pose, the music faded. Isabella stood up, walked calmly through the side entrance, and stepped onto the catwalk. The audience murmured. Security hesitated for a second too long.

Lucien saw her and froze.

Isabella stopped directly in front of Nadia. The model’s confident expression faltered.

“You look good in my design,” Isabella said, voice steady and loud enough for the front rows. “Too bad it was never meant for you.”

Before Nadia could react, Isabella grabbed the high collar of the bodysuit and yanked downward with both hands. The strong fabric resisted at first, then tore with a loud, violent rip down the center. The glossy material split open, exposing Nadia’s black bra and stomach. Nadia gasped and tried to pull the torn pieces back together.

Lucien rushed onto the runway. “Isabella, stop! What the hell are you doing?”

Isabella didn’t answer. She grabbed another section of the bodysuit near Nadia’s hip and pulled hard again. Another loud tear. The side split open, revealing more skin. Nadia stumbled backward, one hand trying to cover her chest while the other tried to hold the ruined garment.

Lucien grabbed Isabella’s arm and spun her around. “Enough!”

Isabella turned and shoved him hard in the chest with both hands. He staggered back two steps. She stepped forward and slapped him across the face so hard his head snapped sideways. The sound echoed through the suddenly silent hall.

Security finally moved. Two guards grabbed Lucien and pulled him back. Another tried to reach Nadia, who was now crying and clutching the shredded bodysuit to her body while photographers captured every second.

Isabella stood in the center of the runway, breathing heavily, pieces of black fabric still in her hands. She looked out at the sea of shocked faces and raised phones.

Then she spoke into the nearest microphone.

“Everything you just saw tonight was designed by me. The collection, the bodysuit, the entire show. Lucien only took the credit. And while he was taking credit, he was also taking her to our apartment every time I was traveling for work.”

She dropped the torn pieces of fabric onto the runway.

“Consider this my resignation. And my divorce papers are already filed. Effective immediately.”

She turned and walked off the catwalk without looking back. Behind her, the show had completely collapsed into chaos — security rushing in, Nadia being hurried backstage while trying to cover herself, Lucien shouting, cameras flashing non-stop, and the audience erupting into loud whispers and movement.

Isabella stepped out into the cold Paris night. A car was waiting. She got in, closed the door, and finally allowed herself a small, tired smile.

The bodysuit had been meant to hide everything.

She had made sure it hid nothing at all.
