“I’LL LEAVE YOU WHEN OUR DAUGHTER TURNS 18”
When Liam told his wife, Charlotte, that he would stay in the marriage until their daughter turned 18 and then leave her for his mistress, he thought he was being “honest”.
Charlotte, 36, didn’t react at first.
That weekend, while Liam was away on a business trip, she took their 12-year-old daughter to stay with her parents.
Then she returned home alone.
She spent the entire weekend destroying everything Liam cared about.
She took his expensive watch collection and smashed every single one with a hammer.
She poured bleach on all his designer suits.
She took his prized whiskey collection and poured every bottle down the drain.
When Liam came home and saw the destruction, he was furious.
Charlotte was sitting calmly on the couch.
“You said you’d leave when she turns 18,” Charlotte said. “I just decided to speed things up. You have nothing left worth staying for now.”
Liam tried to grab her. Charlotte had already called the police and had recordings of his threats.
